Notes: Alot darker than expected.
next batch- drop the spec X down to 4 and up the C40 to 6.
sub out the Midnight wheat for chocolate malt 2#s.
Really tasty, but a little on the dark side, might drop the SRM down to 11. subbing the midnight wheat for chocolate would probably work.
V2 followed above advice, added 0 min cascade addition. |

Brewed 10/11/25. Original Gravity. 1.048. Colour out of boiler is gold - probably because of the Joe White Ale Malt.
Had a day of disrupted brewing and careless errors. Had to rejig hop bill and schedule which may turn out better. will see.
The Taipan is an extremely venomous and aggressive snake found in NQ. |
