Notes

I previously made a Westvleteren 12 Clone. This new modified version includes Cara Pale, some dark candi sugar in addition to syrup and ferments with wyeast 3787, looks more prommising.

New test the 12 August: this version is a bit more hop-fruity and feels a bit less mature. Curious to see what happens in six months, or so.

Dec 2019. Great development, really getting tasty. Hops gradually integrate, and caramel malt and candy syrup brings a nice taste: a soft but yet dry combination.

May 2020. Turning out to be my best beer. Perfectly integrated complex taste. Malty, soft dry taste. The hops remain in the background. Prefer it cold. Five stars.

Oct. 2021: Still very nice, very balanced.

Another new version in October 2021:
Dextrine malt instead of cara pale.
Pure Date syrup in addition to D180 (200g, 30%), together with D45, and candi sugar.
Hops: Brewers gold, Mittlelfruh and ..
