Notes: Brewed on 5/6, first 2-row fermentables estimated from big brew batch....OG at 1.074.....pitched on top of Falconer Flight Hazy yeast cake....on 5/9.. Dry hopped with 2 oz on 5/23.....kegged on 6/1...and 2oz hops added and spruce tips in keg.... 4 days later pulled hop bag....

Notes: Funky beer. Very strong nose. Primary had a rotten avocado smell, smell lessened after secondary. Still there when bottled. Conditioned for 2 weeks. Still very strong sharp funk after flavor. After a month the flavors have mellowed but still a very strong.
Beer turned out like it should as I am told, but definitely not my favorite. |
