Notes: For "boil" squash: 1" cube and roast in the oven at 375 until browned (stirring every 15 minutes) Toss with brown sugar, water and pie spice then return to oven for 10 minutes. Add this to boil for 60 mins.
For "dry hop" squash: 1/2" finely cube and roast in the oven same as boil version, then carmelize in a pan on the stove with molasses and maple syrup. Add to secondary for 7 days before packaging. |

Notes: 10/16/21-Trying a mid-1800's IPA. Simple recipe, let's see what happens. Had enough leftover wort to make 2 starters. Completely forgot to add yeast food and irish moss.
10/30/21-Kegged with 5oz Dry Hops and 20g of Oak powder left over from a wine kit. It is at room temp for one day ~70F, but will then be dropped to aging temp, ~40F.
