Mesking på 68 grader i 60 min. Utmesk på 77 grader i 5 min hvis du har mulighet til å øke temperatur i mesken.
Kjøl ned til 17 grader før pitching av gjær.
Gjæring på 18 grader til stormgjæring begynner å avta (typisk etter 2-4 dager). Øk deretter til 20 grader og hold resten av gjæringsperioden (totalt 10-14 dager).

Notes: My 4th itteration. Very delicious. I add two cans of libbeys pumpkin puree to the mash with some rice hulls. I add the spices to the boil for the last minute and let it steep while I chill the wort.
The IBU's seem high, but magnum hops are very clean and smooth.
Entered in a local homebrew contest. Got 4th place!
If i would change anything would be the nutrients. Yeast didnt ferment as well as it should have |

Notes: -On brew day during down time I split two vanilla beans and made a tincture with bourbon. I used about 4 oz of bourbon.
-Added tincture after primary fermentation. Took a while for krausen to drop but I'm used to 1056 yeast. I aged for a week with the vanilla & bourbon tincture.
-After 1 week in the bottle carbonation is developing. No off flavors. Bourbon on the nose, vanilla is present but not over powering. |

Should end up around abv 7%
