This hefe was brewed on our 1 BBL pilot unit at New Magnolia Brewing in Houston, TX. Lots of clove and banana both on the nose and palate. Touch of breadiness maybe from the munich malts. Just a very typical hefe except for color, which I think this example leans to the dark-ish side of a traditional hefe. This is attributable to the 10% munich type 1 in the malt bill but still turned out a couple shade darker than I thought it would. Decent but could be better head retention. Solid beer. I would dial back the munich malt a bit next go round. Give it a 3.75
