Notes

Yeast Slurrey from dry yeast that was in an extract kit I didn't use. Now 5th generation brew. This yeast goes off like nothing else Ive come across. Quicker than Kveik.

48.3L in fermenter. 85% efficiency. 2.5L wasted in Hopcat. Could have been 50.5L at 90% if poured in. But lots of debris in the waste. .

For efficiency.
Lightly condition grain.
Gap 5 speed 3.5 on grandfather grain mill.
0.15kg rice hulls.
20 min soak and stir grain before mash.
3L per kg mash.
70 min mash, stirred the mash gently but thoroughly half way through.
30L sparge.
55 min boil.
Catch run off from grains and tipped in to boil at 35 mins.
