    My Brewing:

    I brew on a Spike-10 3 Kettle HERMS, including custom BK, MT, HLT, which is a 240v electric system, with a 50a double batch PID panel. I immersion chill with a JaDeD Hydra on an ElectriChair and 6.5 gal/min. submersible pump to recirculate ice water. My Fermenter is a 7 gallon Spike CF5, temperature controlled with a 1/3 Hp Penguin glycol chiller. I monitor specific gravity and track fermentation temperature with a Tilt digital hydrometer, for purposes of logging the fermentation data. I use also use a series of spreadsheets in conjunction with Brewer's Friend/Brewfather build water profiles track my with my brew day and monitor batch progress and performance from fermentation to conditioning. I've also enjoyed using the Blichmann Quick Carb to carbonate, as well as the Blichmann Beer Gun to bottle for competition and share.

    I brewed my first extract batch on my kitchen cooktop in July 2018, and my process has continuously changed since then. I really enjoy every opportunity to try new things to improve my brew day performance and product quality control.

    Primarily European Style Lagers and IPA's.
