Notes: Started from a recipe developed for a multiple decoction mash. Melanoidin added for flavor and color, and some of the vienna was replaced with dark munich to darken things up further. I may have gotten carried away with my changes, so it bears relatively little resemblance to the original recipe, so I'll just have to brew it and see how it goes.

Add the following:
6 lbs of blueberries, 5 vanilla beans (scraped) that have been lightly pulsed and soaked in 8 oz woodford reserve bourbon for 48 hours.
26.5 oz graham cracker crumbs.
Let sit in secondary (with a blowoff tube) for 4 days.
Cold crash for 24-36 hours then keg. |
