MASH WATER PREPARATION
6.51 gallons Watermill Express water. Add all calculated mash salts before dough-in. Phosphoric acid will be added during the mash as required to achieve the desired mash pH.
SPARGE WATER PREPARATION
1.62 gallons of straight untreated Watermill Express water will be used, with nothing added. Since the Watermill express water has no significant alkalinity for buffering, pH adjustment is not needed. This water needs to be heated to 170° F in time for the light sparge. |
