Ingredients
4.85 lb. (2.2 kg) Great Western wheat malt (2 °L) (or similar)
4.85 lb. (2.2 kg) Durst Pilsner malt (2 °L) (or similar)
2.68 AAU Hallertau pellet hops, (0.67 oz./19 g of 4% alpha acids) (60 min.)
Wyeast 3068 (Weihenstephan Weizen) or White Labs WLP300 (Hefeweizen Ale) yeast
For a single infusion mash, target a temperature range of 150 to 154 °F
German hops for German beers, such as Hallertau, Spalt, Tettnang, Perle, Magnum or Tradition.
White Labs WLP300 Hefeweizen Ale and Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Weizen
Ferment at 62 °F (17 °C) until the beer attenuates fully. With healthy yeast, fermentation should be complete in a week, but do not rush it. The cooler than average ale fermentation temperature can extend the time it takes for complete attenuation.

| Notes: We made a Double IPA and targeted for a big fruity aroma. We wanted a simple grain bill to accentuate the hops that we are putting in this beer. we are using bravo for a nice clean bitterness in the beginning of boil. then we are using lotus at a 5 minute addition and a dryhop addition. we picked a water profile to also helps accentuate the hops in this DIPA. we are expecting big tropical aroma and flavor in this beer. we hit all mark for the profile of the beer as well. |

Las adiciones de lupulo se hacen:
- Whirpool, despues de bajar la temperatura a 70 grados y el hopstand es de 10 minutos y ahi se empieza a pasar el mosto.
- Dryhop 2 adiciones. La primera es 10 puntos antes de que termine la fermentacion, la segunda 12 hs antes de pasar a frio. |
