A tiny bit of sweet/malty backbone with lots of American hop aroma and flavor. It's hard to measure the exact weight to use and IBU's you will get from fresh (or dried) home-grown hops. I usually dry them for a couple days before brewing. Other than that, I usually don't even weight them. This is a fun annual beer that is slightly different every year depending on how good the growing season was and how many handfuls I decide to throw in during the hopstand/whirlpool. I grow a mixture of C-hops. I put Cascade in the recipe, but any American hops will do.

Boiled close to 100 minutes after adding 1/4 gallon-ish of excess wort. Brewed on 8/18/18. Started at 8:30am, finished at 5pm. That included cleanup and recirc of pbw water in pump and BK. Pitched 5 fresh dry yeast packs and 1 that was semi old. Pitched about 5 hours after finishing brew. Transferred to fermenter when it was 81 degrees.
