Notes
Inspiration: recent work-related trip to Northampton, England, where I enjoyed a few pints of London Pride and Hobgoblin.
Experimental: (a) this is my first recipe after having enjoyed brewing from all-grain beer kits. (2) it is my first liquid yeast attempt. (3) the experiment includes brewing an English ale using English yeast strain but with a Belgian-style step mash in the hope of brewing an ale with more head retention (4) my first decoction mashing. (5) brewing an English using Vienna malt and other Belgian malts because it is what I currently have in stock!
