Notes
  • Used clarifying tablet and yeast nutrient with 10 minutes left in the boil
  • The smoked malt used was a smoked cherry malt
  • Original gravity was more like 1.061 but then diluted down with water closer to 1.057
  • Pre-Boil gravity was way to low. Had to add 3/4 of a jar of Golden Light LME to get gravity to 1.045
  • Primary fermentation for 1 week with whole leaf hope still in
  • Secondary fermentation for 3-4 weeks in 5 gallon carboy after filtering and making clear
