Target Water Profile
Light colored and hoppy
Notes
accidentally used pilsener instead of American 2-row as base malt; oh well. Dough in at 166 degrees F and recirculated every 10 minutes or so the dead space while stirring with mash. Will add salts about 1/2 way through the mash because my mash ph was 5.19 and will add to it as I start adding my water in by trying to keep the mash temp up and mashing out. 12.5-13 gallons of RO with 7.5-8 at dough in and the rest RO added toward the end of it. The 6 gallons of filtered tap water will be my sparge water; added 1/4 tab of cabdin tablet and acidified to <6 with lactic acid.
Will rack onto my last Robust Porter dreggs with bret trios and the other 5-6 gallons will be Funktown.
OG of 1.062.
