Notes
Did a 90 min mash at 154.
Pitched yeast at 90 degrees. Had made 2-750 ml starters. The OYL 057 was out of date, thus the starters. O.Gg.-1.056
-Fermentation seemed to go well. Xferred to secondary after 6 days. G-1.028 (hmmm, high). Sat in secondary for over 2 weeks while on vacation. Kegged 5 gals 24 days later. G-1.018 (still high, disappointing). Overall impression. Nice color, clean ferment. Good bitterness balance. Not much hop flavor or aroma. Maybe dry hop?
