Notes

Based loosely on the delightfully awesome recipe of mine "Bitter Brown Bat". Adjusted to suit whim, and for available ingredients. Bitter Brown Bat turned out to be not very bitter, at least not for my taste. So I'm taking the IBU calculations in this recipe builder with a grain of salt.

Came in under gravity (1.064 instead of 1.069) but over volume, so that's OK .. more beer, not as strong. Last minute discovery of bad inventory resulted in using 2oz Nelson Sauvin hops at flame-out instead of Glacier. Smells divine. Not "black" rather .. dark brown more like, as I wimped out on the 1 full lb of roasted barley. I think I made a mistake there. The taste is well within "normal".
