Notes
Add blueberry puree and 1/2 tsp pectic enzyme after primary fermentation slows (day 4-7)... Add directly to primary and GENTLY swirl (no splash) and no need for secondary... can do blueberry extract at bottling for bigger nose
Add Vanilla AFTER blueberry addition has fermented for 5-10 days or when gravity is stable.
Clean recommended schedule:
Day 0: brew + pitch yeast (66–68°F)
Day 4–7: add blueberry puree (5 lb) + pectic enzyme
Day 10–18: once fruit fermentation is slowing, add vanilla tincture (or beans)
Day 18–28: wait for stable gravity 3 days
Cold crash 48 hr (optional) → bottle
