Loosely based on variations of Jamil Zainasheff's "McQuaker's Oatmeal Stout" in "Brewing Classic Styles" (2007) and "Oatmeal Stout: Style Profile" in BYO Mar/Apr 2013 (https://byo.com/mead/item/2815-oatmeal-stout-style-profile).
Primary yeast choice is Fermentis/Safeale S-04, but can substitute Danstar Windsor Ale yeast, but it does not attenuate as much, or Danstar Nottingham ale yeast, which attenuates slightly more.
Target BU:GU = 0.58
