I would add at least 1 can or 3.3 lbs of the extract before doing the boil to get the most utilization from your hops ;)<br>

You can check off late additions by expanding the triangle button below each fermentable or the 'All' button.  This will cause the boil gravity to drop, and IBUs to go up!

I'm new to brewing and I'm wondering what the difference between a late addition of the extracts is versus just adding them all at the beginning? What is the procedure that you use for late additions? Thanks
