All the ingredients except of the yeast, are leftover from other brews so I thought I'd but them to use. Using a mix of MO and 2Row as base malts as I did not have enough of either.
We use RO water.

This beer was brewed on our 1 BBL pilot unit at New Magnolia Brewing in Houston, TX. As we do a lot, this beer was made with leftover ingredients from other beers. Base malts of Maris Otter and 2 row were grains we had sitting around, not enough for either to be the main base malt. The Cryo Mosaic was left over from a dry hop. This ended up being a solid beer but not a home run. More malt forward than I expected, but maybe the Maris and the crystal shined thru more than I expected. The nose was citrus and the flavors on the palette were unmistakably Mosiac. Fruit forward and a bit of citrus. The maltiness and the hop profile had a nice balance. Customers liked it and kegs were gone over a weekend. Trying to be impartial, I think I would have ordered a second round if I had this at another brewery. I rank this a 3.8 out of 5.
