Notes

Roast pecans on cookie sheet, 325°F for 15-30 minutes until pecans are deeply darkened in color. Do not let them burn. Toss/stir pecans every 5 minutes for even roasting. Use paper towels to crush and press the pecans to soak up as much oil as possible. I spent about 10 minutes. Add to the top of mash after all the grains have been mashed in and stirred.

Add Maple flavoring to taste. I do this once beer is fully carbed.
