Roasty, slightly sweet milk stout that has just enough hop character to be interesting, but not enough to be a focal point. The opal really stands out, bringing a beautiful graham toasted sweetness that lightens the overall taste of the beer. Certainly a full bodied beer, but I would consider pushing it a bit further.

I split the batch in secondary. Half oaked (French oak spirals) and half unoaked. Gonna try a taste of the oak this week when I get to bottling. Overall solid stout. Would brew again.
