Notes: Steep the grains in the mid 65 degrees C for 45-60 minutes.
It is assuming a 23L batch,
14L - 60 minute boil, and adding the extract at the beginning.
If you can do a full boil you probably wouldn't need the extra 85g Citra at 60 minutes.

As far as First Wort Hop / Steeping hops.... I would add them with around 10 min left in steep (before rinse), and put them in a different bag than the grain. Then you can leave them in for the whole boil.

Notes: I added one 15 oz can of Pumpkin 30 minutes into the boil, added 2 additional TBSP pumpkin spice at the end of the boil. These additions resulted in a very light pumpkin flavor with a nice full spiciness. Not too sweet, and many compliments on a great fall beer!" |

Notes: Belgian White Ale
Start with 4.5 gallons.
Bring water to 160 degrees F.
Steep grains for 30 minutes in a muslin bag.
Bring back to a boil.
Remove from burner and add 6.6 lb of LME
Stir until LME is dissolved.
Bring back to a boil.
At the beginning of the boil add 0.5 oz Saaz hops.
At 45 minutes into the boil, add 1 oz Saaz hops.
At 55 minutes into the boil add 1 oz Saaz hops.
At the end of the boil add the orange slices to the wort inside a large muslin bag for 30 minutes (Keep above 160 degrees F).
Chill wort down to 70 degrees F.
Add 1 gallon of water to the fermenter.
Transfer wort to the fermenter and shake to oxygenate the wort,
Pitch the yeast and stir.
Put in airlock and store fermenter in cool dark place.
