Notes
Original recipe calls for 5kg of Pale ale and 2kg of Golden Promise. I went for all Golden Promise as the base malt because I have a whole bag that I want to use up. I also slightly increased the amount of flaked wheat and oats for extra cloudiness and body.
To make a standard NEIPA, omit the De-husked Carafa II malt, keep the rest the same.
To make a Black version, the De-husked Carafa II should be cold-steeped and added directly to the boil or can be boiled and added to the fermenter, or at bottling time to darken only part of the batch.
