I was wondering why the IBU on this recipe is so high at 108 IBU that would be extremely bitter comoared to actual Punk IPA, Brewdog gives the IBU as 40.

One thing I noticed is that the recipe poster has entered the time on the whirpool additions at 60 minutes that would be the start of the boil, whirlpool is usually done at flame out, so time should be zero (0), this would utilise far less hop oils and bring the IBU down to around 78, much closer but still a lot higher than Brewdogs published IBU of 40.
