Think we should cut all additives in Half. better not enough than too much.

We did, and did about a tsp of fresh ginger and lemon zest in each carboy for secondary. Needs to carbonate and condition some more, but it's good so far - finished up at 1.026, so it's good and sweet, but finishes well.

should mention that the recipe above IS with the spices cut in half. I think they could be cut a bit more for just a hint of spice, but haven't tasted the final product yet.
