Notes
I followed AI suggestions for salt additions to 5 gal of RO water.
Brewed march 6, 2026. Fresh dry Lutra yeast. The past 5 have been repitches. Perking right along 4 hours after pitching about 82ºF
1st time brewing without flaked oats (or any other flakes), experiment. Bottle conditioned and tried the 1st one after only 5 days and was delicious.Lovely color, hazy (no cold crash possible).
Have since brewed the same thing only using Nectaron hops instead of Azacca. This version I tossed the dry hops in loose in the fermenter, lost more than a gallon of beer to hop sludge, better to use the bags like before. Because of the bad volume estimate wound up priming to 2.8 vols CO2. Hpe no bottle bombs!
