Strike water temp calculator told me to just to 165 for a 152 mash but the mash is 156 upon mixing. Going to leave the lid off until the temp reaches 150.
After 30 minutes, mash reached 150, lid placed on mash tun. Final mash temp after 60 min was 149.5 to 150.
Propane burner died. Had to finish on stovetop.
Added Irish moss at 15 min remaining
OG = 1.085
Pitched two packets of us-05
Gravity on day 7 = 1.018
Gravity on day 13 = 1.016
Dry hopping commenced on day 13
Gravity on day 18 = 1.016
Final ABV = 9.1%
