Pretty good balance between maltiness and hops. I didnt hit on the creamy orange popcicle I was going for. Nonetheless it was a good pale ale. It was my first time using idaho 7 hops. I’d say they smell and taste more like melon than tangerine or orange as i’ve heard them described. Next time i’d add more hops at the end of the boil and while dry hopping. Maybe citra or centennial.
