Silky creamy head on the draw, soft and chewy but not heavy. Muted smoke and chocolate notes. Very balanced but low key bittersweet. Reminiscent of Guinness with a bit more body and longer finish.

I called it a "short order" because it uses a one-step 30 minute mash. However, conversion rate was a bit poor, so next batch will probably get a 60 minute two step mash @ 140F/155F.
