How did the beer turn out? Did the yeast play well with the dark malts? I am curious about using this yeast (aka Imperial A20) in a Black IPA

I just brought this one to my homebrew club meeting yesterday, and it was very popular! The midnight wheat contributes mostly color, and has a very subtle flavor (more subtle, I think, than either Carafa or Blackprinz). The yeast and the hallertau blanc go very well together. Altogether I got what I was aiming for: a black IPA with strong suggestions of pineapple.
