Notes
The Olive Backed Sunbird is a common Honeyeater at Taylors Beach. It has a beautiful yellow breast - similar in colour to a German Pils.
2 packs (11.5g each) to ensure adequate yeast.
First Brew of this version 6/11/2024
OG: 1057
FG:
The wort was overboiled losing one extra Litre of wort hence the high OG in comparison to predicted. Will need to adjust boil off rate.
Cold conditioned after fermentation finished at around 4C in fermenter 2 weeks then bottle conditioned 1 week. Further 2 weeks cold conditioning in bottle. Excellent clarity.
Bottled with gelatine finings
