Notes

What is supposed to be, your basic light beer.

Now, a note about brew day. Boy oh boy, do I not like brewing with flake rice. What mucky gunky crappy, trub in the kettle. Also, my efficiency was way low, so I had to bump up to my numbers with 300 g of DME. Hoping this beer turns out. It's fermenting well by all appearances, and doesn't smell too bad. I also used an out of date Ultra Ferm vial in mash. We'll see if the gravity gets low.

Edit #1.

And so, after my first sample of this light, but murky brew, I must amend the recipe. The flavor isn't bad at all. It's crisp, light, and crushable, but it's faaaaaaaar from clear. All that rice flake turned the mash into muck, and I obviously didn't get the efficiency, or the clarity I would have otherwise wanted. From this point forward, I shall switch to corn syrup, and call it even.
