Maris Otter base version of John's Cream Ale. He won an award for the original recipe using 2-row; this version using Maris Otter was presented to the Rat City Homebrewers single-malt experiment for which 9 variations of this recipe were presented.
WL Cream Ale Blend was the original yeast but wasn't available at the shop when ingredients were purchased: John instead recommended a mixed-pitch of WL San Fran Lager and WL Kolsch.
Very well received. Brilliant clarity after about two weeks in cold storage.
