Yeaat flocculated well - beer is a golden amber color and more clear than expected. Preliminary taste test was very promising. |

Not sure I care for the additional acidity Voss brings to the table. Overall the braggot is ok; I feel using something like Maris Otter and other deeper flavor malts will help balance the malt/honey/hop flavors a bit more. Braggot cleared fairly well for a beer with wheat, head retention is nice, and for a 6.5% beer it's easy drinking.
I would recommend a more neutral ale yeast along with some tinkering with the malts to really bring this brew to the next level. Solid 3.5/5 for me. |
