Notes

my low gravity take on the American Pale Ale style, thus the lower hopping rate. also an opportunity to divest myself of some Columbus and Southern Cross hop pellets, lowering the batch cost.

for a lawn mower beer, it will at least be a pretty color.

ha, they sent me 60 L Crystal instead of the 40 L Crystal malt I ordered. reduced the amount from 1 lb. to 0.7 lb to maintain color of around 8.4 SRM.

SRM = 16, amber
O.G. = 1.050
F.G. = 1.007
5.6% ABV

July 6 - racked the beer, added some boiled, cooled water
July 13 - bottling day
