Notes
Description
Inspired by the signature cocktail of TPC Sawgrass, this American Wheat ale is the ultimate summer refresher. Brewed with over 50% Wheat malt for a velvety mouthfeel, it is infused with a "splash" of fresh lemon and lime zest, coriander, and bitter orange peel. Hazy, zesty, and dangerously smooth.
Notes
Actual OG: 1.061 (Very high efficiency; higher gravity than intended).
Mash: 60 min @ 153°F. Rice hulls are mandatory to prevent stuck sparge.
Sparge: 170°F (Target 7.0 gal pre-boil).
Additions: * 10 min: Coriander and dried peels.
5 min: Fresh zest from 3 lemons and 3 limes.
0 min: Citra for a tropical aromatic bridge.
Fermentation: US-05. Relocated to 73°F ambient with fan cooling to manage the high-gravity heat spike.
Appearance: Should be served fresh and slightly hazy to highlight the wheat and citrus oils.
Carbonation: Force carb to 2.6 volumes (approx. 12.1 PSI @ 38°F) for an extra crisp finish.
