Notes

Milled night before, conditioned grain. Mash in 6:10 am Sun 19 March 2023. Fast sparge, efficiency down. First runnings 20 brix=1.080. Pre-boil 31 litres @ 9.25 brix=1.035. Boil 8:30am.
24.5 litres into fermenter 29C 11.5 brix=1.044 11 am. into fridge to cool to 18C. Added 250g sucrose as syrup to fermenter before pitching. 4pm 19.9C, 60 sec o2.
Rehydrated Mj M29 and added 20ml Bootleg slurry from Oct 2022.
Mon 20/3 8 am 11.5brix = 1.044, bubbles. 6pm full krausen, 10.75 brix=1.039, 8pm, set temp to 25C. 7:30am Tues 21/3 upped to 28C. Tues 7pm 7 brix=1.016, upped to 32C.
12pm Weds 22 March 32C, 5 brix=1.004. 5pm looks like 4.5 brix=1.001.
Packaged Sun 2 April, keg plus 4 litres into bottles to naturally carb. Bottles to fridge Thurs 27 Apr.
2023 June Club comp scored 44.5/50 - (bottle conditioned).
Try American hops next time? Fri 7/7 dry hopped 1/2 full cold keg with 25g Citra. Sun 9/7 beer gunned 9x500s.
