Notes

Target pitch rate of 828B. Made first starter to around 400B. 2nd starter to give an additional 597B. 4.3L @ 1.037

17.5 g in regular hot liquor tank - added campden tablet - after a bit we took out 9 g. for the mash into the 15g. pot. (No way to measure in the 15g. pot - that's why we did this) Added 5 ml. acid to mash water and started heating. pH ended up in the range for sure - meter is a bit wonky 5.3-5.4 No chemicals added this time.

Ca V is supposed to be a bit more British in style.

First Runnings - only 1.072
Last were still above 1.020 though!
Preboil was too high so we adjusted w/ 1g. treated water to 1.055
OG - 1.069 - (gained TWICE as much gravity when we boiled the small batch in the 30g pot)
