First time brewing with flour 8 oz of (iunbleached 100% whole wheat).. I found that mixing the flour into a pancake batter consistency before mash in gave great results. I then added the remaining 13lbs of the grain bill to ensure no dough balls. I have had really great results using this method with pillowy head, roundness to the body. It represents such a small % of the overall grain bill that I haven't seen any detrimental effects.
