I started brewing beer over 5 years ago. I started out in typical fashion with a small pot a few buckets and lots of enthusiasm. Early attempts were very successful and then the obsession kicked in. I moved from cooler batch sparging to bigger cooler no sparging eventually to BIAB where I am now. I love the simplicity and control over the process with this method. My beer is every bit as good if not better, the brew day is shorter and cleanup is easier. Win. I co founded the NKY Homebrewers Guild in January 2012 and that has been a blast.
