Notes

05/29/16

first brew with new BIAB system. Had temp swings during mashing process. Possibly due to. Double crushed grains, carbon covered heating element and not trusting the thermostat.

believe we are closer to 67% brew house efficiency. Adjusted readings for temperature and Brix conversion tool to use refractometer for F.G.

09/11/16 - Revised, lowered IBU's a little, added torrified wheat, CaraPils and Special B to the recipe. Much better. More rounded flavors. Ultimately I was not a big fan of the yeast flavors. Almost a tobacco flavor. The second version hides more of the tobacco flavor due to the additional grains. Many really liked it.
