Notes

The sugar in the pineapple juice will serve as priming sugar for carbonation in the bottles along with the decreased DME. There is about 40 grams of sugar in 10 oz of pineapple juice and the general usage for priming sugar contains 86 grams of sugar in 3.4 oz. Therefore, the use of half the DME is permitted with the addition of 10 oz of pineapple juice to meet the appropriate level for priming sugars.
