This beer was brewed at New Magnolia Brewing on our 1 BBL pilot unit. If you like mosaic hops...then you will love this beer. Very simple recipe. Water profile was tailored to enhance the hop presence. Loads of tropical fruit, citrus, and what I would say melon flavors. Citrus on the nose. Bitterness was a bit tame with a targeted 53 IBUs. Might edge that up to 60 next time. Drawbacks: potentially a bit over the top hop characteristics and the bitterness was on the lowish side. This one of those beer I call clearing the cupboard...we had 2 row and we had a bunch of unused mosaic hops sitting around. Why not put them to use. I give this a 4.
