Notes

Yuengling clone recipe for the slightly more advanced extract brewer.

Steep the corn, 2-row, crystal 60L, and carapils with 1.5 qt/lb ratio of water for 30 min at 152F. Sparge with equivalent volume of 170F water. I

Make sure to calc your yeast viability, recommend a starter even with 2 yeast packs. Ferment at 50F until 80-90% attenuated and increase to 65F for diacetyl rest. Once FG is reached, gradually ramp down to 34F for lagering. Min 4 weeks lagering, but 6-8+ weeks is better. Fine with gelatin for 3 days before racking to secondary keg. Carbonate to 2.5+ vol CO2.
