Notes

Pressure fermented at ~5psi.

The Willamette and Cascade hops were harvested from brother's homestead crop in Vermont, and kept frozen for ~2 years. So, in addition to being old and probably diminished in potency, there's a lot of uncertainty regarding their properties relative to commercially produced versions.

A couple weeks ago I brewed a similar beer. Main differences were the hops used and I had half pilsner malt in addition to pale, and no phantasm. I split in half and used Cosmic Punch in one, Helio gazer in the other. Started out great with passion fruit smells, but after 10 days it started smelling like gym socks and passion fruit. The Helio Gazer one had stronger fruit smells, but otherwise similar gym socks... Just wondering how yours ultimately turned out.
