Bring water to 160 Deg and add steeping grains, Steep for 25 to 20 min and remove from pot. While steeping heat a quart of water to 170 deg and pour over the steeping grains while allowing to drip into the pot. Bring to a boil and add the hops and boil for 30 in, Add LME and stir to dissolve. Bring down to pitch temp by an ice bath or adding ice to the wort to cool to pitching temp. Once at fermenting temp pitch yeast and primary for 2 weeks. Use the largest fermenter you have because K-97 is a top fermenting yeast and blow offs are common. Transfer to secondary for 2 to 3 weeks and bottle or keg. If Bottlings allowing 3 week for bottle conditioning.
Sit back and relax.
