Notes

first brew on the Anvil system.
Brewed 11/8/20

Used 2 packs of 34/70 yeast, so that I can use the yeast cake for a dopplebock.
Aim for 70 temp for pitching yeast.

Using suggested efficiency calculation of 70%.

Target OG: 1.051 (70% efficiency estimated)
Actual OG: 1.042 (57% actual efficiency calculated)

Volume was exact with the in booklet calculation for dead space, boil off, etc.

Kegged on 12/29. FG of 1.005 adjusted calculations of yeast to reflect.
Smelled lightly of Heather and tasted floral would definitely increase usage of Heather for next batch in lagering. Tasty but more lager than heather. SUPER clear.
