Target hydration of 1.05Qt/# yielded a concentration of 1.4198Qt/#. Started with 108gal in MLT before starting grist in, hydrating at 7.0gpm with rakes in reverse at 20Htz for first 5min, then slowing to 5.8gpm and 5Htz for remainder of grist in. Used about 0.75 bag of rice hulls throughout grist in, mixing at 20Htz and using wash down intermittently to properly hydrate and homogenize into mash bed. Minerals were added about halfway through grist in. After completing mash in, spun rakes back and forth for 2min at 20Htz, then again for 1min just before vorlauf. |

15min vorlauf at 13Htz yielded 1.076. Targeted an RO speed of 6.4gpm to accomplish 2hr RO. First wort hop addition went in at about 100gal of BK volume. 70% volume yielded 1058 with an RO of 1023. Last RO was 1009, indicative of an efficient RO. |
